Default My Take On The Patriots Moves So Far

I think everyone is mistaken to view any of the moves today individually. We must look at these moves in the way that Bill Belichick and Scott Pioli do which is collectively rather than individually. Both BB and SP are both "Big Picture Guys" who view "Free Agency" as simply part of the process of Team Building. What We have seen in the past few days is acquiring 4 players who will all contribute to The Patriots and what We have given up is some cap space and a Second Round Draft Pick. The question I'll ask the board is some cap space and a 2nd Round Draft Pick worth 100 plus tackles and 11 sacks from Thomas,Solid edge blocking from Brady,65 catches and great Punt and Kickoff Returns from Welker ,and a solid short yardage Back in Morris? My answer is absolutely. When You add to the mix the fact that We still have 2 First Round Picks ,the Big Picture still looks very bright. If The Brain Trust can land Stallworth then the Big Picture comes into focus. The moves make perfect sense, improve your team and hurt Division and Conference Opponents.I'm sure glad Bill Belichick and Scott Pioli look at The Big Picture and don't view moves in a vacuum.

I agree when I look at the big picture I see a big splash in Thomas but I also a few typical Patriot signing in guys that are fairly cheap, very versatile, and selfless. The only difference this year was the speed in which thye have done this. Can't wait to see what is next, and BB was quoted as saying they are not done.
