It always seemed to me that Jake "the flake/fake/mistake/insert ake name" Plummer looked like a pro bowler once or twice a year... and it was always against New England. I can't say that I'm sad to see him go.

A. I hope he's happy in whatever comes next for him in life. I've never heard of him being a jerk, merely an imperfect football player.

B. I'm glad the Broncos are deprived of a potential draft pick.

Good for Jake. How many millionaire athletes do you know that drive a Honda Element, one of the most hideous vehicles on the road. He always marched to his own beat. This situation is no different.

I for one will miss his pornstar mustache.

He'll come out of retirement after his contract ends and end up in Houston with Kubiak, I could bet anything on that.

Watching Jake at ASU (they got Patriot level screwed against Ohio State in the championship game) and with the Cardinals, he always gave his best and was never a major distraction. He was never as good a pro as he was in college but he wasn't a bust either. I wish him well.

But....I think he ends up with Kubiak in Houston myself.
