Good Job,Arliss.......this story reveals alot about BB/SP being ready to go at midnite, when other teams were gearing up for the next morning.

It looks like they beat other teams to the punch on
AD and Welker as well.
I don't think these guys ever sleep......

Thanks sgain......I'm all over the 'net, and no one else had this link.

Another high integrity guy, compare to the parolees at Cincinnati and other teams. He looks like a very versatile, quality pick up.

Just as long as he stays off the Sudafed.

Great signing though - $2.5 mil a year for 2 years is a fair deal for both sides - and we have an RB who doesn't mind sharing carries, who can push through for the TD and pick up 4 yards a carry.

He can catch the ball in the backfield too (heck, he caught almost as many balls as Daniel Graham last year!)

No offense to Corey but we just upgraded. Corey might not be all that happy to hear that the Jets were trying to bring in Morris too.

I agree. Like I said before last year was kind of messed up with the whole CBA fiasco it was hard for teams to prepare because they didn't know how much money they had to spend let alone when FA even started (since they kept moving the date). The patriots were already at the top of the cap last year before the CBA, if they knew they'd have more money they probably would have been able to be aggressive like they have done this year. GO PATS!

I'm impressed by the fact he didn't throw his QB's under the bus and by his emphasis on team play. It's becoming very clear just how much emphasis the Pats continue to place on attitude, work ethic, and devotion to the game. Great signing.

Morris is a capable rotation guy with Maroney. And I'm happier with him, Faulk and Evans around Maroney, not Dillon. Understanding Dillon never was a BAD guy with us, he is very quirky and I am much happier with more normal influences around our young RB.

Very nice interview. Like the guy. Best part is the Jets calling late. Guess The Puffin was not as astute a student of BB as he should have been.
