Default Which Team or Teams beat the Pats @ Home this year?

The Pats were 8-0 at Home last year - This year looks to be much tougher to do that as some pretty good teams will be getting off the bus at Foxboro to try and come out a winner against them.

It will take more than some luck to accomplish 8-0 again,I expect a loss or two at Gillette in 2010.

Which teams do you see ending the great streak at home?

As of right now, I think the Vikings, Colts, and Packers all have the best chance of beating us at home.

Favre does seem to have some good fortunes against the Pats for most of the time he has played us - I think Adrian Peterson is going to have a Chris Johnson year and will limit his fumbleitis and could get 150 yards against this defense as well, not to mention how Matt Light struggles against top flight DEs like Jared Allen who might be the best in the game today.

I expect the Vikings to be one of the teams to win here and easily at that IMO

I DO NOT think the Colts will win here like the Majority have expressed at this time

The most incredible thing about 2009 was the fact that the Pats stood strong or came back against the visiting teams at Gillette but on the road the team turned into mashed potatoes with a side of Brain Fart in the 4th quarter.

The 2009 team was seriously Jeckyll and Hyde the whole season..you never knew what team would be playing that day.

That line isn't looking so good in pass protection. Favre will be interesting this year to watch, but so far he seems out of sorts. Until Peterson actually corrects his fumbling issue, I will not give him the benefit of the doubt. Matt Light struggles against smaller speedy DE's, he usually does well against the bigger DE's. Factor in the new TE's and I think they will be able to deal with Allen.

I think Minnesota takes a step back this season.

I don't know what to think of Indy, but so far their Defense has been atrocious and their O-line has been bad. If that keeps up it will be a long season for them.

You're right. The O-Line of the Vikings isn't good in pass protection. But you should remember that Favre wasn't exactly looking that great last preseason either. That Minnesota team is still dangerous.

Packers give me the jitters, but none of the other teams scare me--of course, I'm not playing.

Don't get me wrong, I am not discounting Minnesota. I just think they take a step back. I honestly don't remember what Favre looked like like last preseason. But I think his Ankle is a bigger issue than they are making it out to be.

But hey that is what makes this time of year so much fun....the anticipation along with the upcoming surprises.

I voted for:

Cinci - the Pats D will not have its act nearly together by Opening Day.

Ravens - I fear for Brady's health here.

Colts - have beaten us 5 out of the last 6 times;
there is no reason for me to believe that this one will be any different.

Packers - the over/under might be 3 figures.
