The Patriots will receive a sixth-round draft pick from the Arizona Cardinals from the trade of offensive tackle Brandon Gorin prior to the 2006 season.
The round of the pick was unknown when the trade was made, as the pick was conditional. The sixth-round pick is the sixth overall pick in that round.
The Patriots also made trades for conditional picks with running back Patrick Cobbs and center Ross Tucker, but the conditions weren't met on those trades, and thus the Patriots don't receive any picks.

If they were to trade this pick let's say, it would allow them to move up to the beginning of round 4 for example (~#5 in Rnd 4 if they traded their 4th + this 6th).
I don't believe Gorin played a snap this year, despite the Cardinals' OL woes. Have to wonder what the pick would have been if he'd made it onto the field!
I believe it's #165 at present. Will fall some once comp picks are announced could be as many as 10 to 15 spots. So, we will end up with 175-180, around there.

It's still pretty sweet to have a free pick essentially. Hey come on now Pioli, you can grab the next Marques Colston with that 6th round pick can't you? I believe the Pats need to do their homework bigtime this offseason.
