Default Anyone watching NFL Network '76 Raiders right now?

Fascinating.

These guys were far more thuggish than I would have ever believed. Dirty late hits all over the place.

The last segment just went over the ways they used to cheat; Fred Biletnikoff had stick 'em on his sock and then sprayed something from a can directly on to his hands. Linebacker Villipiano used to have pads molded essentially into casts and used it to tear helmets off of the ball carrier.

Of course I'm looking forward to seeing how they present the AFCC game and officiating that has become legendary.

The game was a lot tougher then. The 1976 Patriots were not "Choir Boys" either but The Raiders took it to a whole other level.Jack Tatum and George Atkinson were nothing more than Common Criminals.Phil Vilipiano was simply a jack ass.
The best part of this episode was when John Madden was talking about The Ray hamilton Hit,He couldn't maintain a straight face.He knew He was handed a Huge Gift from Ben Dreith.
