Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News reports that the Jets are "likely" to sign free agent Adalius Thomas.
Calvin Pace's multiple-week foot injury makes it a better fit. Thomas can play both inside and outside linebacker, though his pass rush skills have diminished greatly. The 33-year-old might be able to help stop the run.

This isn't too surprising, as many on this board sorta predicted it would happen, especially after the loss of Pace.

His skills have diminished, but his swagger is close to 100%, so he should be fine with the Jets.

Edited to add: Dear God, please let Madden '12 have a "Swagger" rating.

Madden 11 has it, lol. But I'm sure you know that based on your post.

The only way the Jets could acquire a OLB that would scare me is if that OLB came from Pittsburgh or if it was Demarcus Ware.

Actually, I didn't; I haven't played Madden in 3 years. How does that rating affect a player?

determines how often a player celebrates but i heard its pretty broken(like alot of stuff in the game
