God, I hate thinking about that.

The same people who are promoting the ridiculous "BB to Dallas!!!" rumors are the same people who came out with the "BB is looking to leave in a year and he really likes Houston" bull****.

BB will leave as soon as Pioli moves to his beloved NY Giants, which is not in the next few years.

Although it probably won't happen for a while is anyone else already dreading the day when Belichick leaves and/or Brady retires? I figure we have another 5-6 years.

Must be the Bostonian in me but I am not looking forward to those years. Hopefully at least we will still have the Krafts looking out for us.

I just want 1 more SB win before 2010. Just so every stupid writer and dumbass analyst who always take cheap shots at the Pats are forced to mention them when talking about the best teams of all time. With 3 wins they are in the discussion, but 4 would really shove it down all the experts throats who constantly downplay their success.

Yes, which is why I feel such a huge loss - we had it right in the palm of our hand yesterday (or so it seemed) and then we let it slip away.

pheenix, I was thinking about that today. Brady's in through 2010 IIRC, and I would expect BB to stay that long. Evidently, Pioli feels he's got plenty of time to work his magic elsewhere if he so desires. Seymour's in through 2011 I believe. Hopefully, that core wants more rings (plural) so we can always have those bragging rights.

After that? Down to earth (if, of course, gravity doesn't just grab us earlier than that.) But I've dealt with lean years before, and I'll deal with them again.

Just not quite yet.

just a rumor created for just that...rumor...
kraft vs jones where would BB go...its stupid...these rumor mongers just pick some coach's name which is high profile and create news...not worthy of even thinking all the reasons it wont happen

Now if they started a rumor that parcells may end up back in NE as some kinda scouting consultant with pioli it would make a more believeable rumor.
