Default How Sick Was That Gaffney Catch?

I am trying to think of anything that will keep me from going insane.

The catch he made in the end zone was just insane.

He kept his heals in bounds by the skin on his teeth, elevated like crazy to catch it, and was able to keep control of it on the way down.

We haven't seen catches like that around here in a long time. This guy is a keeper.

That was a great grab. I'm sure that after the pain of the loss dulls we'll remember alot of positives from this season.

I think he can be a solid number 2 at the least.

It is one of the most amazing catches ever by a Pats receiver. Did you see that while falling down, Gaffney even twisted his foot to align parallel with the sideline in order to avoid stepping our of bounds? What presence of mind.

I agree............. from what I've seen in the postseason Gaffney has clear #2 potential in my book. I'm looking forward to both him and Reche battling each other for those #2 - #3 spots.

I just hope that we go out and get a TRUE #1, and not just assume CJ is that guy. He's shown me NOTHING this year.

I was at the game and find it crazy he didnt step out and come back in....if you watch your Golden Boy Brady was being hunted down... it REALLY took the wind out of our sails... I mean to me IMHO ,as bad as some of think you played , you were answering the bell every round last night !! Nothing to be ashamed of. Expect you back ( in championship form) next year.

I think Gaffney shows what you can get from a talented seasoned vet. It took him a few weeks to bed in, sure, but now he should be pretty productive next year with more than half a season in the system behind him.

With that type of exposure to the offense, Jackson could do the same next year, which is why we should draw breath before lining up to throw him under the bus.

Gaffney has been a terrific addition to this offence. Top marks to BB and SP for picking him up. Quite what the Eagles and especially the hpeless Texans were thinking when they let him walk is a mystery. (although the Texans recent record of picking up offensive talent - or more pertinently - not picking it up is beyond mystery and somewhere in the realm of lunacy)
