Default OK, Now Its The Off-Season.

We lost. Great game for the fans around the country. Props to the Dolts. This season is now over. No need to watch the ball washing festival that will be this year's super bowl. Fuggetaboutit.
Lets move on. It is now officially the offseason. Will we keep Josh McDaniels? Where will we go with our and other free agents? Who will we draft?

96 days until the Draft. Thats on my mind now.

I will not watch the super bowl, but rather watch tapes of all the bowl games, trying to find a shut down corner to draft in place of the soon-to-be-gone Asante Samuel. Then I will try to find a quicker remedy for the flu, and jet lag, and try to figure out a way to make the trip from San Diego to Boston to Indy quicker...

I say let McD go. What was up with that hand-off to Evans on third and a mile? If that was an audible by Brady, shame on him.

Off season...We NEED MLB help. I love Tedy but he looked old in this game. Vrable played valiantly but it wasn't enough. Asante's going to probably sign with the Jets. I say draft/sign LB's and DB's.

So be it. One cheap call and a team that outhustled us in the 2nd half. I can deal.

Moving on, We need to get better or younger at LB. Non-factors in the 2nd half of this game. No doubt hey are getting older and need to atleast be subbed out for more often. For BB's personal reasons he doesnt draft LB's in the draft so if he has to sign a quick fix like Donnie Edwards,so it shall be.

I was very suprised by the way Samuel and Hobbs played in the playoffs. They were Merriman lights out and were a bright spot. That Hobbs phantom PI call pissed me off but I'm not gonna blame him for it. He played real good the last 6 games. However we may need a cb with one of our 1st rounders who can step in right away.

I don't know what to say at WR? There are no gamebreakers in FA and Caldwell and Gaffney stepped up big time. And Brown was huge as well. If somehow we could get that kid out of GT we would be sitting pretty but that is the ultimate longshot considering he will go in the top 10,if not 5.

Offensive and defensive line is sitting pretty which is one of our strengths. Warren is an absolute must sign.must must must.

All this upcoming draft can do is help us and make us better. NO glaring holes, just need some more playmakers on both sides of the ball.

I for one think we will be players the next few years. Sure we will be dealing with San Diego for sure,we just need to get younger and learn the Belichick way.

We need more speed and youth on defense in the secondary and at some of the linebacker positions. The lack of lost this game for us IMO.
