Default Cross Your Fingers...

Colts releasing 1000 tickets at 10:00 am. Much like the Chargers, they are limiting sales to Indiana people. But, they are having no online or phone sales. So, I sent my buddy to Indiana (it's about an hour and a half to the border) to get tickets. He arrived, and told me there's no one in line. Northern Indiana is Bears territory. Hopefully he can get a couple before those fools at the RCA Dome get all 1000.

I am so going to this game.

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! LAST TWO TICKETS THAT WERE SOLD!!!!

So my buddy gets to the Ticketmaster in South Bend. He is first in line of about 10 people. They do a lottery anyway. He gets #7. They say that they would be lucky if 2 people get tickets. Before the first person can pay, they are sold out. The lady says that if they wait, singles may come available.

Everyone leaves. He sticks around. He is the only Pats fan. 2 tickets pop up. He gets them. The system then closes the event.

I'M GOING TO THE AFC TITLE GAME!!!

Make us PROUD, DAVE.

BTW, I do have a stupid question.... If you are so in with Brady, how come you didn't ask for one of his tickets?

Namely because I can usually get my own. I don't like to do that because aside from his family tickets, they have to pay for them. They also trade amongst the players for extras depending on who needs them. I try and not bother him too much in season anyways, let alone in the playoffs. I have the financial resources to go to the games, so I do it on my own and see him afterwards. When I went to Pittsburgh for the AFCCG 2 years ago, I scalped off of eBay, and then went down onto the field for the celebration because of Tommy. The last thing I want to do is be one of those people always asking players for things- I know how much is demanded of him and if I can be 1 less person asking for something, I will. Well we're friends, we're definitely not best friends, and I am able to understand that there are people ahead of me on the pecking order, and probably more people like me asking for tickets. I've only had him get me tickets once, and that was in the preseason. I hope that makes sense.

As for making us proud, you bet your ass I will. I will be screaming and yelling and acting a fool all day. Maybe I'll bring speakers to pump in my own noise.
