I know it's of topic but it's mid-week and an online friend on a no-football forum posted this. It's about his brother and I found it to humorous not share.

on thanksgiving, my brother went to the chiefs - broncos game to root for his broncos (he even lives in denver). here's a bit of his funny tale -- and, i am a chief's fan, so i had no sympathy for him :

His dos and don'ts

1. Do not pay $140.00 for tickets sitting amongst only Chiefs fans.

2. Do not wear a bright orange Elway jersey to the game.

3. Do not, when you see police arrive in your section, start looking around for who is being arrested and mention to the couple sitting next to you that, "Looks like someone is getting arrested. This should be interesting."

4. Do not request the Chiefs fans sitting around you tell the police you'd done nothing wrong when its you the police come to arrest (accused of "Threatening people in my section").

5. Do not laugh when they also take your friend who is a Chiefs fan and sitting next to you along to jail as well.

6. Do not, when in front of the concession stand and not yet in handcuffs demand to be allowed to go back to your seat claiming you did nothing wrong.

THINGS TO DO:

1. Do smile as the police are putting your arms in positions only a contortionist would find comfortable to handcuff you.

2. Do smile as about 300 Chiefs fans are yelling and cheering that, "Elway is getting arrested."

3. Do smile for the camera when you realize your buddy has his digital camera in his pocket in the holding cell in Arrowhead Stadium.

NOTE: Clay and I were arrested about 5 minutes into the game, held for an hour and then released without any charges. We were kicked out of the stadium, told it would be trespassing and we'd be arrested and charged if we returned. I declined to inform them that I was a lawyer and would be following up this event. We hadn't said a threatening word to anyone since we'd arrived. My friends were all Chief's fans, so I might have joked with them, but not others in our section. Our beers arrived just as the cops arrived. We were told we were threatening others in our section, yet when I tried to ask for any proof they said they were just going on a tip. I asked if we were being arrested and they said no. So I asked to be returned to our seats and that when they threw the handcuffs on and dropped us in a cell.

the cops noticed that they were taking photos in the cell b/c they had a surveillance camera in the cell. they came and took away my brother's cell phone because they thought they were using it to take photos, so his friend's camera was left in his friend's pocket -- which is how they got the photos.

dude if I were your brother I'd press charges. This is America, you have rights and the police can't arrest you whenever they feel like it.

Technically they didnt arrest him. They "held" him for precautionary reasons.

The term PC'd comes to mind. The do it to drunken idiots all the time, the courts ruled that perfectly legal.

I can't imagine why your brother is smiling after shelling out big $$ to go to the game and ending up in a cell with cuffs on.

Simple explanation (which goes curiously untouched in the Chiefs fan's post):
the Broncos fan was BOMBED. This would explain "do-not's" 3-6 and "do's" 1-3 (assuming all happened).

I've never been in handcuffs, but even after I get a speeding ticket I am anything but smiles. Combine that with the fact that he was missing his favorite team play, I don't see how a person can smile unless completely hammered.

I imagine the tailgate was pretty intense. I basically had to carry a friend into the Pats/Colts home opener a couple years back.
