Website Still Quite Slow, Please Fix It Once and For All, Ian
It's getting to be a drag to come this board. I'm all fired up about the game and it takes almost a minute just to get the forum to open, another minute to open a thread, another minute plus to get a reply page, and two minutes for the reply to post then a more waiting going back to main page to look at other posts. I appreciate the work Ian has been doing but the slowness is taking the fun out this site.
Other than the occasional lockups, the original server was at least faster than the snails pace I'm getting today and most of last week. yesterday the site was faster at times, I'll admit, but the incosistency seems needless given the ample number of quality servers now on the web.

All for a few seconds. Gee, what loyalty. I certainly wouldnt want you in a foxhole next to me , in battle.
Coming from the man who has sent this board on the verge of civil war on more than one occasion? Give me a break, if you cared about this board as much as you claim, you would quit starting political threads on the football board.

NEM he's got a valid point, it's frustrating to sit here and wait.....and wait....and wait. I don't blame him for being frustrated. This is really starting to get to me, and I had better get the answers I'm looking for shortly. This is getting real old, especially considering the fact we're on a dedicated server and this is still crawling. We're on the most expensive server they offered (with the biggest company online that as much as I'd like to I won't mention) with a Pentium 3 and 2G of RAM. This shouldn't be this way.
Ian

Thanks for your hard work, Ian.
I can't believe people would whine like this about a free service while you're working your butt off, but i guess it's the same "fans" that complain about players with 2 or 3 injured limbs while they reach for that next handful of chips.
