Default New field turf could be carved up if Jets' game forecast (rain) holds

With rain in the forecast on Sunday before and during the game, the new turf could take a beating as the mild temperatures could also contribute to sloppy conditions. Could we see a return to Sand Pit II? This could prompt Colts GM Bill Polian to demand that the NFL force the Patriots to install a new dome to cover Gillette Stadium.

New FieldTurf?

Newsflash: The Pats resodded the middle of Gillette. There was no FieldTurf (i.e. artificial) installed. That report was erroneous.
