Remember two weeks ago when a score of 8 put you in 61st place? This week, 8 points wins! So don't worrry if you are in the season-long contest and think you have no chance: almost everyone got a high score this week, and with a full 3/4 of the season plus playoffs almost everyone is still in contention.

Congratulations to 363839, who by predicting Patriots over Bengals 34-17 put a whipping on the rest of the pack by a TD. But before we start going overboard praising 363839 for his foresight, think about how foolish he'll feel when the Pats win the SB this year but someone else has already taken the nick "36383941". Personally, I plan to change my nick to XXXVIXXXVIIIXXXIXXLI. That'll probably still be available. So there.

Its obvious, I should have missed last week, would have done better.

Wow I sucked so hard last week. 28-20 Cincy predicted, 38-13 NE actual. Owch. But, it hurts so good.

A Catch-22: if you are good enough to figure out you should skip a week, then you are also good enough to do really well that week and thus shouldn't skip a week.

Actually, I would be surprised if anyone skips on purpose, at least this early. At the end of the season I can see someone with a lead sitting out because it preserves their lead, which is why the free pass stops after week 16.

I was honestly thinking about voluntarily taking the week average for last week instead of a wild guess.
