Felger had an article in yesterday's Herald but I can't seem to get the link to come up.
Anyway I do agree with just about everything that he wrote about Rodney's return.
Personally I thought that he look good in his movement. I do think that he did look a little tenative at times. He probably was under orders not to take chances but just go out and get the feel of live action again.
This was from watching on my TV set. I'd be interested in hearing from others as to their thoughts and those of you at the game that could see the whole field.
I was very interested in hearing about how he felt physically and mentally after the game. I am a little concerned that no one was alowed to talk to him.

He looked about how I'd expect him to look -- tentative. Which is fine. As Felger said, he's probably wanting to keep that knee away from contact as much as possible.
Overall, we look very good at SS with Harrison and Sanders.
Here's an excerpt from Reiss's transcript of the interview today with Rodney:

Rodney's take
Patriots safety Rodney Harrison met with reporters today in the locker room and talked about returning to the field on Saturday night.
"It was fun, it was a little different being back out there after missing 11 months of football," he said. "Maybe after the third or fourth play, I started feeling comfortable and almost feeling like normal."
Harrison said he appeared in about 15 plays and had one play in which he landed on the knee and felt that was an important step. He reported his knee responded well and he was back in the weightroom the next morning.
Harrison said he took in the moment as he returned to action for the first time.
"It was unbelievable," he said. "Just so many months of hearing people doubt you, saying it can't be done, you're too old, no way in the world can you come back, just to be able to get back out there and have the fans and people embrace you the way they've done, it was amazing to me. My teammates supported me. It was an amazing feeling."

He needs to read this board a little more. There is one poster who never doubted and has made predictions as to how this season will go for him. So far, it going as predicted.
Of coarse there we many posters here who doubted him and mocked the poster who repeatedly told everyone that he would be back.
Thanks, Mike for posting that. I had just heard, when I was out, that he had talked to the press was going to ask if anyone had heard it.
It's a pleasure. Happy to hear that you were interested ...

It's OK i'll still doubt you! So has he made a tackle yet? or was he running away from the RB's?

Whether he made any tackles or not, the defense just looks so much more "together" when he is out there. Can't explain it. Maybe it's just psychological.

PS - I forgot to add at the game on Saturday the announcer hesitated after saying, "and starting at safety..." "#37, Rod Ney Harrison!!" The crowd erupted of course, and they showed Rodney for a second on the jumbotron. I could have sworn he was crying.

That sounds like a smart ass troll post, but you can doubt all you want.
But, by the time your fish show up in Foxboro, you better start praying for your TE's, WR's, and RB's who come over the middle. You also may want to throw in another for Pepper if Rodney comes on a blitz.
