Willie55 you need to understand that since it is Mcbee's opinon that Scott can't tackle, then Scott can't tackle. This is a "sky is falling thread." Please get with the program.

I've seen nothing to make me believe that TBC, Mincey or Chad Brown are ready to start at OLB.

Me niether - but if our other option if Don Davis, I'd rather be strong up the middle. Admittedly a Beisel or Gardner may be just fine when Bruschi and Seymour are back (not even counting Rodney), those are obviously monsterous losses.

It is interesting watching the tape, though, I need to go and look at the official review but to my uneducated eyes, Mincey is strong against the run, hustles and has some pass rush. Against second teamers he didn't look half bad.

Same here. I'm really looking forward to Vrabel and Colvin wreaking havoc from the outside.

I guess they don't really teach tackling after high school. None of that "make your body a missile" like Rodney.
Scott wrapped up and brought him down. Duckett is 50+ lbs. heavier than him, it's to be expected.

And Rodney has never ever thrown his body at a ball carrier without wrapping up and have the guy gain 10 yards after because he bounced off him. Never.

I saw Guss get burned by the 2nd and 3rd string TEs on two medium pass completions. If he's on the field, I'm nervous.

Little Guss Scott is miscast as a SS; due to injuries (Rodney, Mel Mitchell, Tebucky), however, there he is. As a FS, he could be, possibly, maybe, a decent backup. That's it.
