Default The JoeSixPat synopisis of WRs

Hey - if you can't beat em, join em.

Childress seemed like he was getting good separation but Cassel couldn't get him the ball.

Caldwell needs to convince us that he can put his training camp success into practice on the field when the hits are real.

It's silly I know, but since efforts to encourage folks to merge threads ather than start individual ones about their opinions are not welcome, I'm just gonna go with the flow!

Absolutely NEM! 100% agreement. Why have your thoughts and posts lost among all the rabble when its so much more satisfying to the ego to start your own thread ensuring that everyone sees your opinion!

Sure it pushes the good threads of others off the front page and isn't really in everyone's best interest - but it sure does satisfy that ego!

I strongly encourage everyone to follow NEM's lead!

NEM! You're the one who convinced me that your way is better!

Consolidating thread topics is for the birds! You've won!

What are you so mad about?

My synopsis: As it stands right now this could be the worst receiving corps in the NFL except for the Jets, and that might be a stretch. That one missed TD by Caldwell scared the dickens out of me. It displayed a certain "don't really want this one, I'm thinking about getting hit, Oh well, my hands aren't that good anyway" feeling which is death for a starting receiver. More to come, the final tally isn't in.

Cut Caldwell now. He stinks.

Awright - an actual WR post!

quite simply we can't go into the season like this. Branch got a lot more leverage last night.

Like I said, if Branch signs, if Jackson gets healthy, add in Troy Brown, Caldwell who has shown that he CAN catch the ball, in fact, his first catch on the quick out last night looked very much like David Givens...and add in a fith WR, whoever it may be, add Ben Watson to the mix as a bonafide TE with WR capabilities, not to mention Troy Brown who sitill has gs in the tank......and if Branch and Jackson are part of the unit, this is far, very far, frombeing the WORST inthe NFL, as you suggest.

Think positive.
It's not a conclusion. Like I said, the final tally isn't in. But my couch potato instincts gave me a good shudder, I can't deny it. Always follow your couch potato instincts... its like a jedi following the Force.
