Default Key thing to remember about tomorrow's game (or any preseason game)

Is that Belichick will be going out there with a very vanilla game plan.....not going to show anybody much......going to put a few guys in some certain situations and see how they perform to pare down the roster a bit more.......but it will be very boring, simple, and very frustrating to the "Pats fan" as we think that things look like we have no creativity whatsoever and that the team is not that good. Preseason doesn't really prove much.....and Belichick does not tip his hand one iota so that the opposing coaches on this years schedule will have little tape to work with come "game time". I have to remind myself of that every year......life is different when you have the greatest coaching mind in the history of the game at the helm........I have to remind myself of this same approach when the NFL draft comes up.....and we are just begging for that sexy pick to be taken by BB and the Pats.....and instead he goes with a big corn fed kid out of western tennessee that no one had on their draft board!!! Enjoy the game....sanely......and GO PATS!!!!!!

What you say is true but if they lose it will be the end, they'll never win another game again ...Ever.

I usually do not make it past the first quarter... the content coupled with the announcers Criqui and the other dude from San Francisco are very boring...

Wish they would at least have Gil and Gino doing the game...

Does anybody know where online where you can watch the game live, without having to pay nfl network for their package.

Thank you and much appreciated.

I think if I hear the word 'vanilla' again WRT the pre-season I'm going to throw up.

There is only so much you can get out of preseason game. Every year there is a team that goes 4-0 and everyone hypes because of it and they go something like 6-10. Many times at least one of the Super Bowl participants are .500 or worse in the preseason. All you can look for is really is people standing out for good or bad and individual match ups. Most of what we will see may or may not have any bearing on the regular season.

100% true, but it will be the first rain on my dried-up, withered appetite for PATS FOOTBALL!

BTW, just saw this morning that it will be on NFLN... made my week.

Best example possible...2008 Detroit Lions.

Excellent points. Preseason games are only there to help coaches make their minds up about players and put people in the closest thing they'll get to real games. They're no real indicator of how any team will do in the regular season.
