Idon't have either, but I think 3D is a gimmick (although I may buy a 3d TV this weekend since I gotta upgrade my TV this weekend and I like the pictures of the Samsungs and the thinness so I might pay an extra few hundred for the 3D package).

I plan watching about 8-10 regular season games in 3D

That would freak me out, I would be running around my living room yelling ... "I'm open...I'm open"

I thought it would be...until I checked it out in my local Sears store one afternoon. I was truly blown away. They had a demo of FIFA games, Pixar 'toons and movies. It almost made me want to see Alice In Wonderland! It really looked spectacular in every instance.

Yes, you do, but there are really quality ones that you'd want for yourself and your family.

Bottom Line: It's been touted by PFT and other places and it's true...this technology was MADE for the NFL!

I used to think it was a gimmik until my brother and one of my friends watched it in a store, they said it was amzing especially for sports. However, I can't stand the glasses and that's a deal breaker... and I love my Pioneer Kuro.

No way that is best done in a Jim Carey Voice (not sure if the OP was referencing this scene or not)

DOCTOR
Mrs. Robinson? I'm Doctor Handly.
Now who is it that you'd like to
have us look at?

MELISSA
My brother… Eugene.

ANGLE ON ACE - Looking like the football player who never wore a
helmet.

ACE
I'm ready to go in, Coach. Just
give me a chance. I know there's a
lot riding on it, but it's all
psychological. Got to stay in a
positive frame of mind. Memorize
the play book. Study the films.

Ace strikes a dramatic pose and freezes, with a crazed look on his
face.

ACE (CON'T)
I'm gonna execute a button-hook
pattern!

He begins to make a play in slow motion.

ACE (CON'T)
Super slo-mo!

Melissa walks with the Doctor. Patients are sitting around, doing
outdoor therapy, etc.

DOCTOR
You're brother won't be the first
professional football player we've
treated.

MELISSA
Is that right?

DOCTOR
Yes. We're very sensitive to the
emotional stress athletes have to
endure.

Ace runs across the b.g. screaming "I'm open! I'm open!"

DOCTOR
We'll have to do some preliminary
evaluations, but I think your
brother will fit in nicely here.

MELISSA
That's a relief, Doctor.

Ace takes a "snap" from a three-foot hedge and dives over it into the
end zone. Melissa and the
doctor stop to watch him.

DOCTOR
He seems to have some difficulty
letting go of the game. Has he
had a long history of mental
illness?

MELISSA
(truthfully)
As long as I've known him.

Ace does a wild touchdown dance with some of the other patients
participating.

That was the first thing that crossed my mind, I don't think Homer has had anything close to that as a quote...
