Default dan shaughnessy calls the pats "desperate housewives"

(on the sox rain delay show)

Suppose he got that term on these boards? he kinda screwed it up though, we refer to the sox as the desperate housewives

Well doesn't a desperate housewife seek attention?

The Patriots do the exact opposite.

But I can think of a team (that I love) that does that, but they don't play football and they are getting rained out tonight!

But he makes up for being stupid by being unoriginal.

I think Shaughnessy really deserves credit for that great acting job he did as the title character in Napolean Dynamite.

Shaughnessy has always and will always be a Sox guy. I appologize in advance to all the Pats only people here, but this is hilarious. Down goes Tunescribe.....down goes Tunescribe. This is just another affirmation that we are being read by the Boston media guys!

As is usually the case I disagree with Danny-boy on this point, but it's making me giggle all the same!

Don't know what's more pathetic: his saying it or our arguing about it. Clearly, we've entered the silly season. How many days to Training Camp?
