So did i.

Especially the conclusion that 2nd-round picks produced about as much value as first-rounders.
Trade down, whenever the opportunity presents itself!

Seymour would have been taken #1, maybe #2 after Tomlinson. No way do two WRs get taken before the DLineman. DLineman are the most valued defensive players in the NFL nowadays and Seymour is arguably the best. You may be able to make an argument for Brees over Seymour.

And Vick at #1? Is this guy on crack?

I assumed that he meant, in terms of the health of the franchise -
ticket sales, paraphernalia sales, and the like.
Ownership has ridden that running-back-under-center ... pretty hard, and pretty far.

Either way. Not worth the #1 pick.

In one respect, I found it interesting that other than Atlanta he had the Patriots making the right pick at #6.

On the other hand, I can't see how he could have Seymour rated any lower than #2 after what Seymour has done in the NFL. I don't see how he could have kept Michael Vick as #1. Vick probably should have been in the top 10 but not #1.

The big tall WR's bite the dust.

Only Freddie Mitchell fails to represent.

Seymour should be #1. He was the best, most successful pick in that draft. Vick shouldn't even be in the first round, he sucks as a QB. You can say that Atlanta has made a lot of money marketing him, but you know what really makes money? A team that wins Superbowls.

According to that Mock draft, it's obvious that the Patriots Sey mour light. Sorry, I know that was bad, but I couldn't help it!
