Default Pats at Bills Dec. 26: tickets galore

Just spent some time on eBay looking at Pats-Bills tickets (in Buffalo Dec. 26), and it looks like a fire sale. You can have your pick of about anywhere in the stadium. Though they were more expensive than most, I grabbed a pair of seats on the 50 yard line seven rows from the field behind the Patriots bench. Total was $308 ($154 each). There are plenty of similar seats available. I've made the trip to this game most years since 2001. I recommend going if you can, lots of fellow Pats fans always show up.

That awsome good for you. I generally don't like being that close to the field but directly behind the bench would be cool as I am sure you will see some things on the sidelines I never see. For that price and location I might have to put some thought into going.

I too have done this trip several times....Each time we sat in a section called the rockpile which is known for being a diehard Bills section.

It is definitely a fun football trip....as all we really did was eat wings, drink beer (I dont really drink much but others did), and watch the game.

I have also made numerous trips to see the Pats in Buffalo with a group of around 30 Pats fans. I look forward to the schedule coming out each year to make plans for this trip, however for the third straight year the game is being played between Xmas and New Year's. So off to Chicago this year instead.

Nothing holding you back except for a minor plane flight. Heck, the game ticket and hotel surely won't amount to much.

Study history. Be innovative. I suggest the time honored tradition of indentured servitude to fund your trip over. Will really suck post game though.

Kudos to you guys. Now we know who the REAL pats fans are; to travel to Buffalo and sit outside in dead of winter surrounded by rabid Bill's fans while that cool beer sucks the heat out of you body...does not get much more hardcore than that.

I work some RedSox fanatics who travel to NYC to see them play there because it is easier to get seats to Red Sox games in NYC than Boston. But those guys are milquetoasts compared you guys. I cannot imagine anything worse except maybe going to Phili for Pats game...
