Playing for a losing side sure is sweeter when you make coin like that. I sure hope he feels wanted.

Congrats to Seymour on the tender. He was a very very good player for the Patriots and an integral part in our Superbowl success and establishing what this organization has become today.

Yep. I love Big Sey as much as the next Pats fan, but he hasn't been worth that kind of coin for a couple years now.

I guess that depends on where you sit. I expect that the patriots don't think that any non-quarterback is worth $25M for two years.

Seymour's a smart man. He understands the ramifications of not getting a deal done prior to any work stoppage. As an older player thrown into what could be the largest free agent class ever, he'll struggle to bring in the big deal post impasse.

Seymour wil have had two years of good money, in addition to the Haynesworth money he was earning with the Pats. But I suspect he will be tired of losing.

Belechcik has brought back some of his older players before; and I would be delighted if he did so with Seymour too. When Seymour left there were lots of people who needed to be paid and there was not enough to go around. Well Wilfork is signed, the Mankins reeserves apparently are un-needed. And Seymour ais a little older and perhaps a little cheaper and wiser,as he leaves his prime.

If they resigned him next season, the draft pick will essentially be a two year rental fee. richard wil return just in time to finish his career with the the new Defensive juggernaut.

That would be pretty awesome, but I very much doubt it!
I Just cannot see it happening.
