No harm with inviting him to camp, or trying him out. I think he sucks, but maybe BB, TB, and the organization can salvage his career. I doubt it, but if it's free, with no risk, why not.

BTW, I agree with that other poster. Worst 1st overall pick in history. I remember wondering what it was people saw in him.

It's not that Belichick can improve him, or Brady. The kid has apparently zero desire to play, hes got his payday, and that's good enough for him despite his tremendous potential with his talent. With the way he threw it if you could have taught him some footwork and ability to play in a pro offense, he could've been scary good.

But even with his talent, I wouldn't want him near our franchise, he doesn't represent what the Patriots stand for.

Oh man it would be just so funny if we signed him up and he won the no.2 berth and the Raiders have a horrible year and in 2016 the Patriots win the Superbowl with all-pro and probowl QB JaMarcus Russell and the all-pro and probowl 1st round pick from 2011
