Cowboys | Owens to write a book
Mon, 20 Mar 2006 15:37:16 -0800

The Associated Press reports Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens is writing a book about his time with the Philadelphia Eagles. He is writing a book called "Ineligible Receiver: The Real Story of My Journey from the Super Bowl to the Sidelines." The book is due in July. "Finally, the real T.O. story can be told," Simon & Schuster executive David Rosenthal said. "It's an important chapter in the long-term struggle for players' rights in the NFL."

Good grief, the guy just doesn't know when to quit, does he?

I imagine that book will set new standards in self-serving drivel.

It's December 2006. The Cowboys have been eliminated from the plyoffs. TO is following Drew along the sidelines yelling at him for not getting him the ball. The Tuna decides to intevene and TO tells him to f-off.

Could anything ever be better that that?

Ineligible Receiver: The Real Story of My Unrequited Desire to be Jeff Garcia's Center. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Per KFFL:

"Randy Galloway, of the Star-Telegram, reports the Dallas Cowboys were surprised to hear about WR Terrell Owens' new book. The book will be released in July, just in time for the opening of training camp."

Just one of many surprises Mr I am a good teamate has in store for America's team this season...
