Default regular joes, and professional teams

Hey how do regular joes and janes, try out for professional sports?

Is there like a walk in try out, for the minor leagues, then you make the team and then get called up to the big leagues?

If you can make it past Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, you get a shot at becoming the next...

how about the dude that went from delivering beer to New Orleans Superdome to making the team as a special teams/returner?

I think there are open tryouts, but you've got to have some serious credentials to get a true look...

I guess only scouts watch these tapes?

Is there a way to find out who are scout for what team? is this kind of info open to the public for knowledge?

If you are serious about it...try Arena Football first...and see how that is..I am sure if you can make it there..you will get a look-see by clubs. Also, there are a number of semi-pro teams around the country. My stepson may play for one in upstate NY. Although, he just likes playing and has no thought of any pro deal.

Are you serious? Can you hit a baseball? Thats all that matters. The Tampa Devil Rays have players that hit ok and can score from second on a fly ball. Latin kids hit bottle caps with broomsticks. Can you hit a baseball?

Well i wont be winning the home run race for sure.

I can work on making contact, with the ball, and i can work on my swing.

iam sure if i can get on base, my speed and threat to steal would be helpful to any team.

Is there a way i can tell if wether or not i can hit? would sessions at batting cages determine that?
