Default Former Saints player donates half of SB check to charity

I know the guy's not Mother Theresa or anything, but when you think of all the guys who basically flip off whatever team/city they're leaving, I think he deserves some kudos:

There isn't a classier organization in the NFL than the Saints....Just about every player on that team lately has been of utmost top character.

I think this says a lot about thier coach Sean Peyton....Peyton is a motivator and more than just a Head Coach,He's a father-like figure to those guys and things like this prove that.

Nice story.

Not sure what to make of his deal with the Browns. I thought he could have helped the run D here and added some solid vet leadership.

On the other hand, 3y/14m w/ $8m guaranteed is a lot for a guy who may/may not get beaten out by McKenzie.

I concur..

was in NOLA for Mardi Gras, and it is amazing how this team is interwoven into the fabric of everyday life in that city.. nothing to compare it to.. glad I experienced it.

Funny story, I stay with relatives and one of their friends was going to dress up as "when pigs fly" for Mardi Gras.. was in the French Market and saw some beads with a pig on them.. written on the pig was "who dat"... so I bought them and wore them until I saw her again..

Did not see her for a few days, and was wandering around the parade.. you would have thought I was a super chick magnet, as could have just about anything for those beads.. was continually propositioned by women who said unabashedly.."what can I do to get those beads??", anyways to make a long story short did not give them away until they were given to the woman they were intended for.... was one of those experiences will never forget.
