I did check it out and he was cut...Same with Bailey...For some reason I thought he was a FA and signed..but I wasn't sure..I think Felger had mentioned that Spires was the only one..a few years ago..but??? Some of the time he is totally wrong.... My bad..so in fact...that is even MORE remarkable!!
