Umm, Boldin absolutely got an extension. Or dd the Ravens give Boldin an extra $25 million in a per diem? You Jets fans masquerading as Pats fans really need to keep up with current events.

Boldin isn't a Patriot right now because they didn't want to give him an extension in the trade. With multipe teams bidding on him, he has that leverage to steer where he wants to go.

As for Burgess, he wanted out of Oakland. He was happy to come here whether it was with a new deal or not.

Well, at last you trolls admit you ignore the facts to bash the Patriots. Most rational people here actually listen to the facts before we decide to bash or not, but as you admit, facts just get in your way to bash.

Here are some facts for you:

- Multiple teams were bidding on Boldin
- The Pats appeared to be the only team interested in Burgess
- Chris Mortensen reported the Pats wanted Boldin to play on his current contract
- The Ravens gave Boldin a very lucrative extension

Take away those facts and Belichick thought Burgess was worth more than Boldin. But please, don't let the facts get in the way of a good bashing. Any intelligent person knows that if Belichick had a 3rd rounder and could trade it for Boldin for one year or Burgess for one year, he would have picked Boldin. That isn't what his options were.

Ah now that we're talking facts, truth and honesty then give me your honest opinion about trading our 3rd for Burgess ? Was it a good move or a not so good move?, I'll put it into as basic a question as possible. We await your honest response ?

This Burgess thing has gotten stupid. The trade didn't work out, we'd all love to have that draft pick back right now. But it was just before the season, we had no pass rush and we were trying to make the team better with what looked like a proven pass rusher.

Would I make that trade again now ? No.
Would I make that trade again back in August ? Yes.

Well that is a good point. We should have waited for him to be cut or give up a 5th, but not a 3rd. 3rd rounders are gold.

and burgess sucks so why did we get him again? again, BB's judge of talent isn't that good for some reason. HE overvalues veterans even washed up stiffs like burgess.

You could have simply said "yeah, sorry this thread sucks harder than my mom".

Oh well.

After seeing your previous 244 posts - it's right at your level, troll.

Please, go back to JI or Gang Green or wherever you're from. You can celebrate the Cromartie trade with your buddies.
