because he has a good personal relationship with brady. not so much with the pats. thats why he has written this article.

It's worse than that. I think it's just evidence of institutional creep (starting the retail seasons earlier and earlier). Tom is 32. Won't be 33 until August. Manning on the other hand will only be 33 for another 6 weeks...then he will be... 34

Actually Silver had a falling out with both the player and the organization. He used to be a personal friend, a relationship developed/cultivated over time when he was with SI. He kind of went off the rails between spygate and babygate and they haven't had a relationship since.

I want to see Brady get another ring just to put the nail in the coffin in this discussion. With 2:30 left in SB42, was there any doubt who the best QB of this era was?

Don't see anything wrong with the article. We need sportswriters to be this balanced and not follow the flavor of the month. And it's ok that you don't have to agree with him all the time.
