Pats play on Thanksgiving in 2010?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lions' 2010 schedule will include Thanksgiving matchup against either Patriots or Jets
By Tom Kowalski
December 27, 2009, 12:40AM
The Detroit Lions' opponents for the 2010 season already have been determined and Detroit will host either the New England Patriots or New York Jets on Thanksgiving.

In the rotating schedule, it's time for an AFC team to visit Detroit and those are the only two AFC teams the Lions will host next season.

Jets suck on TDay games, I hope the Pats get this one.

It would be nice to be able to enjoy football on Thanksgiving again for once.

It's irritated me how even with Dallas being a strong team they still manage to have the weakest lineups on Tgiving

I am sure there was a thread about this a few months ago. Saying that the Pats were likely to get it.

I think Jerry Jones likes it that way.

Yeah, here's hoping the Pats get that game and then host the Green Beans after 10 days' rest.

Until people have a credible alternative, why should the NFL change? They can schedule Detroit v. Tampa Bay and it'll still get good ratings.

ow that I'm older and am constantly hosting non-football loving friends for Thanksgiving I thank god that, a. the Lions stink and so I wouodn't bother watching the game anyway, and that b. the Patriots won't be playing.

Please oh please let the Patriots avoid the T-giving game.

This offseason, it's almost like Belichick is saying, "I'm never going to let that happen again."
