It seemed to me Brown always led by example - and if not for some injuries might have really stood out among the all time greats (as evidenced by the fact that many around here recognized that in his shortened career)

So it will be interesting to see how a guy like Brown develops other leadership skills as a coach

I wonder sometimes if guys like Brown are brought in to coach technique more so than X's and O's - whereas other non-player coaches who have been studying strategy since age 9 like BB seem to excell in that phase of the game

Ultimately, it seems like owners prefer the X&O guys for HC positions
