Default Wild Card Prediction Thread - Who Plays On? Who Goes Home?

Lets hear your predictions on the 4 playoff games..... Answer to poll to who you think will WIN and PLAY ON.

My Picks are...

Bengals 23
Jets 16

Bengals had obviously little interest in last weeks game between the two - The score was lopsided for that very reason, not because the Jets are suddenly a juggernaut.

Ravens 16
Patriots 13

This is hard to do because I am a hardened Pats fan but I can't see this team holding off a Ravens team who not only posesses a powerful running game with Rice and McGahee but the passing game was playing well the last time these two teams met - Without Welker, Brady needs Moss and Edelman to have beyond solid games and the rushing attack needs a top notch day- It probably won't be enough with this defensive secondary giving up too many big plays late in the game, hope I am wrong.

Packers 27
Cardinals 14

The Packers defense has been playing lights out, even though last week the Cards didn't care to play the Packers are on a mission and no NFC QB is as hot as Aaron Rodgers is right now (Favre Who?) - The Packers win easily and end the NFC title defense for Arizona.

Eagles 34
Cowboys 28

Toughest game to pick by far of all the games, this game is truly a tossup,I see so many prognosticators putting the Cowboys in the SB yet they have yet to win a playoff game and I don't think they will here either - No team in McNabb's career has beaten him 3 times in one season and I think that string continues,This will be a offensive slugfest with DeSean Jackson being the difference as he has done often this year.

I picked Jets, Pats, Packers & Eagles. Glad to see we are still mostly homers! My only pick that seems to go against the grain is Eagles. I think Tony Romo will choke again and Donovan McNabb will rise to the occassion, only to choke later on.

Not at all - even Rodney Harrison is pretty adament about the Eagles winning, and he gives alot of good points.

Also - Reid has never lost an opening playoff game, while Phillips is goosegg in the playoffs.

Small suggestion for anyone just posting who they think will win--that's kinda what the poll part is for.

But this is a good idea--might be helpful for gambling picks (if that were legal, of course. *cough* )

One question before I make my picks--what's the deal with the injured Cincy players? I'm in NY so have a pretty good feel for the Jets (sad to say) but I'm not comfortable w/my knowledge of the recent Bengals injuries. Anyone?
