Default Ten reasons to root against Pittsburgh today

Honestly, folks, who here can stomach the thought of Steelers players and fans strutting and bragging and trash-talking in the national spotlight for a whole freakin' year? The Seahawks are a much more palatable prospect as NFL champs. If you need more convincing, here are 10 reasons (in no particular order) to pull for Seattle today:

Joey Porter's mouth
Bill Cowher's chin
Ben Roethlisberger's "State Police" stocking cap
Jerome Bettis' hometown hoopla
Troy Polamolou's hair
The ubiquitous/obnoxious "Terrible Towel"
Rodney's shattered knee (Carson Palmer's too)
Matt Light's busted leg
The prospect of a 2006 filled with TV commercials starring Steelers players
The Patriots will remain the most recent AFC champs to win the big one

"Sometimes the best team doesn't win" -Kordell Stewart, January 2002 (After the loss to the Patriots)

"We all know who the real champs were last year" -Lee Flowers, Sept 2002 (before the loss to the Patriots on MNF the following season)

to hopefully put an end to the "Ben hit the wall last year....he's much more mature this year" talk, which I take as an insult that cuts both ways - sort of blames him for last years AFC Championship loss and denigrates the Pats accomplishments

1. Matt Hasselback son of Patriot Don Hasselback

2. Lofa Tatupu son of Patriot Mosi Tatupu

3. Patriots 3 SB wins one behind Steelers 4 - we can catch them next year if Seahawks win - (and also still tie their 4 SB in 6 years record)

4. Tom Brady will still be youngest QB to win a Super Bowl if Seahawks win

I think that will (unfortunately) happen anyway. Think Chunky soup.
