Default Welker deserves to be honored as a captain on this team

While Moss and his career stats shows HOF material and he set the record of TD catches back here in 2007,I still think that Wes Welker is more consistent and plays with more desire and heart to have earned the role of Captain on this team, not Moss anymore.

I still wonder why BB has not pulled the plug on this but I do think there is no way in hell he strips Randy of this and tabs Welker but it is the right thing to do for a player that gives his all.

The players select the captains.

BB surely has a veto, and may also suggest ground rules (e.g., a range for the total number, a positional/unit balance). But he doesn't just give or take away captainancies.

What player on this team would not agree that aside from Brady,Wes makes this offense tick.

The players vote on captains every year, 2 years in a row Moss was voted as a captain BY those players. How does that not answer your question?

Why don't the Pats wear the C on their shirt?

I think he'd merit the "C" on any team.
