Default Faulk comes to defense of Moss

Moss leaves without speaking to media - Extra Points - Boston.com

Quote:
"As long as the guys in this locker room know that he's giving his all, and that football is the No. 1 thing in his life, I don't think what other people think matters," Faulk said. "He knows what he has to do as a football player, and he's doing it. Nobody else is complaining. Nobody in this organization is complaining about what he's doing."

Ever think he doesn't play hard?

"Never. One thing I would add: I think that what happened this week, as far as getting sent home -- I think it pissed us of as players, too -- how the media expressed how Randy Moss got sent home with three other players. That's what really hurts him the most. Why not name the other three players? Why just his name? He was really hurt about the situation, about getting sent home. But at the same time, that's what Bill's wishes were. And that's what he did."

Was it lingering at all?

"I know it wasn't. He loves football. This is what he loves to do. And nobody ever says that."

Moss got the biggest pre-game cheer from the fans. The media sucks goat balls and I hope the team uses their negativity to play even better. Hard to see that 4 guys were late. The way the media portrayed it was 2 guys were slacking and were late and 2 guys should have left earlier.

I think it was just a bad day for 81. The events of this week played a part in it, I'm sure -- but I hope, and think, that this will get him fired up for the rest of the season.

Good for Faulk!

This offense is physically hurting. They need to publicly support each other publicly. If someone needs to take hits or make recriminations, that needs to come from Belichick pr Brady. The offense will be fine if and when they are more healthy.

Mmmm, amazing that a great Patriot like Faulk would be a close friend with a POS like Moss.

Looks like another long week for Randy. Glad that Kevin has his back.

The media likes to make a mountain of a story out of an ant hill. Especially with the easier targets like Moss. Can't wait to hear Felger tomorrow....he's been on Moss' azz since he got to NE.

One thing I do know, is that a seasoned vet in the lockerroom WOULD NOT come to the defense of Moss unless he deserved it.
