If the Saints and the Colts play in the SB, I would put Indy as an underdog by about two pass interference penalties. I hope Brees and Co. can cover that spread.

If it's NO vs. Indy then NO wins. If it's NO vs. Indy + the refs (as usual) then it's about even.

I was at the dome for the game and just got back. Me and my wife had way to many drinks with other Patriots fans in the French quarter, and I am here to report that you are a great fan base with respectable and football minded fans.

I spent couple hours with Tom Jenkins and we toasted each other QB’s with a shot of tequila with him and his wife Marg, ouch.
I spent some time after the game with Josh Mcdanalds and his family bumping fist and making sure they all had a good time. I have to say his daughter is wicked “ hope I got that right” cute but I knew in the end a Patriots family and a boy from N.O. would never work. I would constantly correct her on the word “soder” or “pop”. j/k You should see how we talk, hell I can barely spell. and I am married so that messes thing up,lol.

Any way had a good time posting here, know we had some mis communications , but it all seems to pan out in person, and you should be proud how your fans represented themselves in the city of N.O. We hope you all had a good time.

Every team has an off day, and I know that happened to the Pats Monday. Not excusing anything, good teams find a way to win, but I wouldn't rip your team apart for it. I really think it was just a simple misunderstanding of how we play ball and not enough preparation. I have said here before the Saints are better than the colts or vikings, Saints are just more complete, and I got some plak for it , and it was justified. But I do think this team is good and Brees is better than he has gotten credit for in the past.

Your going to be in the playoffs, period, and so are we. What ever BB has to do he will, and you’ll get your shot at us , hopefully. So buck up little camper you guys need to kick some Miami butt. And we have to see if this team is good enouph to go to the show.

Good luck in your run for the Playoffs Patriot fans , your a class act, and thanks for coming down.

good game.

You guys have a phenomenal team, QB, and coach. Hopefully we'll meet again in February.

Oh, if it is NO vs. Indy, I look for the refs to watch their P's & Q's very carefully. The Saints are now the new "media darling" feel good story. If they try to help Indy, like they do so often against other opponents, look for serious media backlash !!!!

Thanks pherein, you guys have a great team. You beat us in every aspect, no excuses from me. As a resident of New Orleans, the town is definitely buzzing with Saints mania. Good luck to you the rest of the way. You have a chance to do what we could not complete two years ago, to go 19-0, and make the '72 Dolphins story irrelevant.

That's awesome. Good for those Saints fans.

This Saints team may be the best team I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Just amazing on offense, fast and opportunistic on defense. They are amazing. I'm fortunate to be able to attend the playoff games and I hope to see them raise the NFC trophy on the 50 yard line. I hope the Saints do what we couldn't and go 19-0, unless they play the Pats in the Superbowl, that is.

It's a fun team to watch (unless your playing them) - lots of big plays on both sides of the ball, but well coached with really good fundamentals too. Most fun non-Pats team I've seen in the BB era.

Sean Payton gave up $300K of his own salary this offseason to hire Greg Williams as DC. That's a real statement of how committed the HC is to winning. If I were Tom Benson, I'd make sure he gets every penny of it back.

If it can be done (19-0 that is), I would much rather see the Saints do it, rather than Indy. I just hope Indy loses this week, so they don't tie our regular season consecutive wins record. I am so sick and tired of seeing them pull games out of their @$$e$. That "horseshoe" on their helmet is more fitting than anyone knows right now. Straight up, and game called fair and square the Saints should run Indy right out of Miami Stadium, should SB come down to those two teams. I feel rather sure the Saints will be there for the NFC, not so sure about Indy though. Despite our woes right now, I like our chances to represent the AFC as much as any of the rest in the AFC pool.
