It was the PI call on Darius Butler covering Austin collie......It was a total BS call.....They were running down the middle of the field and Butler was in front of collie, The ball was a little underthrown and butler jumped up and a little back to reach up for the ball......collie jumped as well and collie's feet extended when he jumped and the pass was incomplete.......The combination of Butler jumping up and back a little and collie jumping up and his feet kicking out caused the collision and of course the pats get called for PI which gave the colts a first down at the 13 yard line......it was with around 3 min left in the game I believe......

Bulter was facing the ball too, Apparently, he did not have the right to try to make a play on the ball.

25 yards for something Austin instigated. Gotta love the refs in Indy

To me, it looked like a basketball play. Collie was sprinting down the field on a seam, and Butler was following him about 1 yard behind. The ball was underthrown, and Collie slowed up, gave Butler a small hit with his shoulder to draw contact, then attempted to catch the ball. Collie, in my opinion, clearly initiated contact. It looked almost like offensive PI to me.

I'll have to see the replay, but I didn't like that call.

The rules committe needs to review that particular dynamic. The contact came as Butler was looking at the ball w/ the receiver adjusting/coming back to the ball in-flight. Both players were going for the ball. If Butler doesnt turn around, I can understand the PI call....

Fully agree ! But what else did we expect when we play Indy How long does this guy Polian going to stay in Competition committee. Isn't there a term limit on the post ?

On the other hand, two red zone turnovers which would have been an easy 14 points is what I cannot digest

We beat ourselves

The officiating all game was crap. Brady was hit several times below the knees, and no calls were made.

Typical late game heroics from the zebras. What's crazy is the refs seem to have their hands in more and more games at crucial situations. Curiously, in some of Indy's biggest games dating back to the 2006 AFCCG, they always go in favor of Indy.

It was a BS call because (1) Butler had position on Collie, (2) Butler had turned and was facing the ball, and (3) Collie came back towards Butler and the ball and initiated the contact with Butler. The DB has as much right as the receiver to the ball, and the receiver can't go through the DB attempting to get to the ball.

I didn't mind the earlier PI call on Bodden when he clearly grabbed Garcon's jersey - that's a fair call. But to give up a 31 yard penalty in a critical game situation on something that bogus is just not right.
