AFC East QBs: Who will be the best of Sanchez, Henne, Edwards?
Based on what I've seen, Henne is going to be the best of that bunch. I see this guy being a solid NFL player for awhile. He is throwing to a bunch of garbage receivers, and the only guy that can get open is Ted Ginn; unfortunately he can't catch the ball. He has good mechanics and makes good decisions. He doesn't force the ball into coverage and generally seems to understand the offense. More than anything he looks focused and unemotional, very in control of the team and the huddle. He will probably get better as the Dolphins reduce the Wildcat and other gimmicks in their offense as they pick up WR talent in the future. Their tricks are basically a way of saying "we have no receivers, so we'll use our strengths to our advantage."
Sanchez looks to me like he might be pretty good, but I don't see this guy as coming close to his 3rd overall pick billing. His body language and comments suggest that he's a really good guy, probably a likeable person, but probably too sensitive to play quarterback in New York. He seems to play with a lot of emotion, which is not always good. I could see this guy crashing and burning... typical of the Jets, getting off to that hot start may have been the worst thing for a rookie quarterback who suddenly has big expectations.
Edwards is on his way out. Buffalo will probably clean house soon, and I don't think many new GMs would want to build their franchise around a guy who probably won't be good enough. Edwards wrote his own pink slip when he texted his GM and asked him to try and get TO. What QB in his right mind would want TO on the team? I just don't see Edwards as a guy who has the skills to take you to the next level, and probably not even the playoffs. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like he throws a lot of weak wobblers.
Who do you guys think will be the best of the 3?

I'm more impressed with Henne at this point, but you have to keep in mind he has a year of experience in the NFL on Sanchez. It can make a big difference, as it did for TB.
That said, Sanchez has a lot of potential. He has good poise and he's usually pretty accurate. He should get a lot better with more experience.
I really like Henne though. Reminds me a little bit of Peyton. He has much better arm strength than Sanchez, as well.

Parcells is no idiot ... if Henne was that good the team would not have drafted Pat White and would not be spending so much time in the wildcat. Hanne may be a bit above average at best is my opinion.

They run the wildcat because they have no playmakers at receiver. As someone pointed out above, the one guy they have that can get open can't catch. Henne has the arm, the poise, the size, and the decision making ability to be a stud in the league.

Sanchez will be a solid QB, not a superstar and maybe a borderline star in his own right(without the New York Media assis).
Henne looks like he might be Miami's QB for the next few years before his talent starts to erode or he gets mauled by defenses...one bad injury may derail his career from starter on an up and coming team to perennial backup QB.
Edwards is on his way out of the league...I give him another year or two in Buffalo then another year or two after as a backup QB before he is playing in the UFL or CFL or worse Arena League.

If your argument made the best sense, the Dolphins should have drafted a receiver in round 2, instead of drafting another QB, don't you think?

Well, we did draft WRs in round 3 and round 4...
There was only one WR taken after the Pat White pick in the 2nd round, and that was Massaquoi... who has had his fair share of drops as well.
But to answer your question... Miami did try to invest in the WR position in this years draft...
Can you name a team with a worse WR corps than Miami? It'd be tough. We have one of, if not the worst, WR corps in the league...

Are you sure Pat White was even drafted to play QB?
The dolphins run so much wildcat because the two best players on their team are runningbacks.
