I don't agree with any of his analysis. Brady the 14th Best QB? Are you kidding me? He's 8th in QB Rating, 3rd in Passing Yards, 2nd in TD (15), only 4 INTs, 11th in Y/A, and 9th in cmp%. The only thing Roth has on Brady is cmp% and Y/A.
I don't agree with the assessment of our running backs, certainly not receivers, and the Oline is a bit out-there. Moss is ranked 31, yet he is 3rd in the league in receptions, 5th in yards, and has 4TDs on the seasons. Add in the fact that he has been battling a back injury and I think it is absolutely absurd to rank him 31st.

This is the year. We put our failures in the past, it's a new year, a new defense. It's time to prove to the league that the Patriots are back and aren't going anywhere and they will be the last ones standing in Feb.
Update: Well that didn't work out as I had planned. Next year baby, next year 19-0 we go. Next year.

I think we established in a prior thread this site's rating system is rather questionable.
True, it's not stat based, it's play by play performance. I thought it was pretty interesting, if a bit hinky in some places.

I think the analysis made sense. Brady wasn't Brady for most of this season. He only started to return to form against two very bad defenses in the last two weeks. There still is room for improvement.
With regard to the offensive line, I think he was spot on. I don't Neal gets enough credit for his caliber of play. He doesn't get alot of attention thrown his way, but he comes in and does his job. Mankins, on the other hand, has not been stellar. His career started off great, but this year and last year have been subpar. If he asks for too much, let him walk.
All things considered, I think our team should defeinitely consider looking at the best interior offensive linemen. Neal is getting old and Mankins will soon be a free agent. A strong young presence could help us considereably.
Question: Where have we had more success running the ball this season? I'm not sure. No sarcasim implied.

Don't shoot the messenger... not my analysis. Remember, the rankings do add in blocking, penalties, etc... as well. Even so, I agree that Welker and Moss are way too low.

I've updated the post to answer your question in depth, but LG is not good.

Left End - 5.15 y/a.
Left Tackle - 2.83.
Mid/Guard - 4.74.
Right Tackle - 2.66.
Right End - 3.45.
So a bunch of guys watching broadcast feeds break down the plays albeit with no knowledge of what the play calls called for all 11 guys to do within a scheme and game plan. Guys here used to do that here for a little insight, but to grade that level of analysis is foolish...not to mention incredibly arrogant. Doesn't surprise me when fans attempt it, though...
