I savored the butt whipping we gave you guys. When Tom Brady was looking in the sky like "I lost to the freakin Colts man." I really enjoyed that game.

Another example of Payton Manning turning it up during the regular season and turning it down during the playoffs, as always!

You have some playoff smack-talk for me, or are you just gonna keep bringing up regular season games? Again, are you gonna come back here after PM's latest playoff choke and smack-talk about MNF 'cause that's all you've got? LOL

Peyton plays smart that's all. We couldn't play like the normal Colts in Foxboro because of the blizzards. Why throw 30 yards down field in 25mph winds?
Look at the playoff games that Peyton has won there was no blizzard or high winds. Peyton is a great QB I don't see how you Pats fans can't see that.

I can see how he chokes when the big game comes. He'll pile up regular season stats and get the media hype.

And, people who do not live in a plastic bubble, know that last years "blizzard" was just a few flakes.

8 points does seem high, but let's see if the line tightens over the next 2 days.
that looks like the usual vegas ploy of trying to attract "sucker" money.

the vegas line on Colts-Patriots should be fascinatng. you colts fans will put so much money on indy that you'll move the line all by yourselves.

Imagibe what the spread would be if everyone gave Brady and BB the respect they say the deserve. I'm guessing -45. Would that be enough respect Tommy Boy?

Did you learn how to make excuses from the master, Peyton Manning?

You may have a different metodology, for your purposes, that more accurately reflects the state of the game.

For conversational purposes here, why don't you share with us what you think is a good spread for the game?

And as for that Colts' "fan", all I can say is, boy, is Vegas going to have fun with you guys, should you play us!!!!
The point spread is designed to encourage equal numbers of people to place equal amounts of money on both teams.

It's about fans perceptions more than anything else

Set the line too high or too low and too many people flock to one side

The fact that the line hasn't moved in a week suggests that equal numbers of people believe the Pats will win by more than 8 points and that equal numbers think they will win by less than 8 points (or even lose outright)

That's as much as you can say about the line.

Nova, 8 seems definitely high to me, but then I have to think of all the times I have said a spread seems out of whack, and the game comes out right there, and I'm amazed at how these handicappers can get so close so often!

Those Vegas boys do know their stuff!

That said, the only line that really matters is the one right before kickoff...

The rest of the week, they're just reacting to where the action is flowing...

Dude, why are you on a champions board?

Go back to your "We win a lot meaningless games and milk our teams for outrageous contracts" board, will ya, please?
