Hmmm. Sort of makes me wonder if we'll see him in more than just the kicking game this week.

This is definitely false. The most receiving TD he's ever had is 5 in one season, and he missed the last 8 games of his senior year. I think he only had about 3 TDs..

His speciality was KR and PR until he saw more and more time at WR, later on.

Before the injury many scouts considered him better than hakeem nicks. we managed to get a would-be 1st rounder in the 3rd round.

Does no-one see him as more of a Branch-quick twitch-explosive burst-top route runner-type?

Creator of the Pats must draft Jason Verrett in 2014 no matter the cost fanclub.

That would be the perfect complement to Welker and Moss.

Read previously that he was first round material until he hurt his knee... the question is that this is a timing offense, and has he had enough time to get the routes down with Brady???

I can't wait to see him out there but in the back of my mind, if Tom needed a few games to get comfortable after a major leg injury, I would think (maybe wrongly) that skill players like WR's and RB's would need even more time to get back to 100% not just physically but mentally as well. I'm personally tempering my expectations for his first few games but I'm still quite excited to see what he can do out there.

I don't see him as anything yet because I haven't seen him play. But that'd be a great complement to what we already have. According to this link, he played some DB in high school as well. So who knows, maybe he also pulls a Troy Brown at some point? But I'm getting waaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of myself here. If he could fill the 3rd receiver or kick returner spots, that'd exceed all of my expectations of him this season.

The link above from CBS Sports claims 4.53 on campus, but I've seen 4.3 and 4.45 reported in other places. Though who the hell can tell the difference between a 4.3 and a 4.53 just by watching?
