"The Bucs will beat the Patriots". I LOL'ed a few times at the responses. "Yes, the Bucs will beat the Patriots... to the locker room because they're going to get ran off the field in the first half". Good stuff. The best is when they compare this game to the Raiders/Eagles game. Just thought you guys would enjoy it.

Now you guys might ask, "how in the world will the Buccaneers post any offensive points against these highly esteemed Patriots?"
The answer? Kellen Winslow Junior and Cadillac Williams. Struggling to neutralize tight ends and elusive runningbacks all season long, the Patriots's biggest nightmares will be Kellen Winslow racking up catches and Cadillac Williams following the running lanes behind our healthy anchor in the front, Jeff Faine....
Uh huh.

NE will win this game but if the score is close with something like 24-21 it would not surprise me although I expect a 21 point win
The Bucs had a good shot to beat Carolina last week but found a way to lose despite having played with heart for 3 quarters - Seemed like they gave up on D after coming back to tie the game once Delhomme made a few good passes.

I'd say the Patriots are considerably better than the Panthers, but that's just me...

Well the Eagles were considerably better than the Raiders last sunday too
Any given sunday, like Berman says "Thats why they play the game"
On another hand I have no idea why St. Louis will show up to play Indy this week - that could be a 59-0 carbon copy,The Rams are only a shade better than a top NCAA team at this point

The English give us Dickens, and we give them a team that keeps getting the dickens beat out of it.
They show us the Palace Guard, where the soldiers refuse to move no matter what happens around them, and we show them the defensive line that refuses to move not matter what happens around it.
They let us see Stonehenge, we give them Stonehands?
They give us The Office, a charming little farce about a dysfunctional workplace, and we give them the Bucs' front office, and the word "ditto" comes to mind.
Yeah, this is going to be tough on London. Tough on the Bucs, too. They have enough trouble driving 50 yards for a score. Now they have to go 4,406 miles to try.
Imagine being Morris facing these kinds of odds in this kind of surrounding. How exactly would you address the troops?
Maybe Morris could borrow from Winston Churchill here. "We shall fight them on the beaches, and we shall fight them in the trenches, and we shall fight them on first down and we shall fight them on third.''
At which point, one of his players ought to look at him and say:
"Just asking, but why don't we fight them in Tampa?''

The Bucs are going to shoot ourselves in the foot more than a couple of times (like the Eagles did) in order to win on Sunday and I can't see that happening. Short of a catastrophe, we are going to win.

I really see no problem with fans of a bad team to be thinking they will win this week,Thats cool by me
Better than some fans alienating thier team when they are down - Pats fans would be more likely to jump ship more than most other teams fans if they were to suck in a few years,The more you win,the more spoiled your fans get.

Didn't the Falcons have a decent tight end? His name escapes me. I don't recall him doing much against the Pats.
The Bucs are giving up 28 points a game on the average over 6 games to offensive juggernauts like the Redskins, and scoring 14 points on the average against a fairly weak schedule. I saw the pre-game for the Bucs four weeks ago before the Giants game, and one of their biggest supporters (local media) sounded like he couldn't make a credible argument as to how the Bucs might beat the Giants.
I could see the Titans remembering their 13-3 selves and therefore posing a threat. The Bucs have been bad going back into last season, and do not seem to be improving. Short of filling the Patriots' water bottles with a fine English stout and getting the entire team liquored up during the game, I would be flat out amazed if the Bucs manage to make this game interesting.
