no its true, we dont get taught American history at all. Unless you deciede to take history on after the age of 14. Not really an important part of our history...

You think it's better there? They even ask what language we speak here.....in England.....

At school I learnt about the Roman Empire and as we went on we did cover the British Empire. Early on here it's mainly about the Tudor and Victorian era's and once you reach high school a massive bulk of it is spent in detail on the two world wars.
