In your other thread, Bruschi pretty much indicated that SeaBass is da man Sunday. Not that anyone here should be surprised.

Not surprising to me....I'd be surprised if most folks here didn't already feel this was the case.

Pass rush? Uneccessary when you have 72 CBS playing.
Lbs? What for, we have no pass rush, they gonna chuck it at our lousy CBS...all 72 of them bums

Mankins basically confirmed it this morning on WEEI, as well.

Being that it is at home vs a crappy team, might be a good game to let the rook get his feet wet, gain some confidence and let Light heal a bit.

As long as Vanden Bosch doesn't turn into Jared Allen on Sunday, the Titans pass rush is about as bad as the Pats'.

It certainly beats playing two players out of position when one of them is a rookie to boot.

Why did they run about 8 running plays in a row when tehy put in Vollmer?

I mean it's like they just gave up, it was pathetic.

They wanted to see how he was going to respond against one of the leading pass rushers in the league. They did the running plays to see if he was able to push back Dumervil. When they saw that he could, they started passing it. Vollmer is a rookie and is extremely raw. With a quarterback coming off of injury, they probably felt that it was too big of a risk to come out throwing right away.

The Detroit Lions called a good amount of passing plays on Sunday. If you felt that this was so pathetic, there's always room on their bandwagon.

Oooh, you showed me!

It was pathetic. 6 predictable running plays in a row. We needed some points and they go 3 and out to "protect the QB"? Why not just forfeit the game at that point if they were that worried, that's pretty much what they did.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why you even bother... There are 31 other far more deserving doorsteps you could darken.
