OT: We need (athletic) tackles that can move, to free up our TEs on passing plays.
SS: If Harrison makes it back from that injury, (back: as a starter) it would be one of the most amazing come backs in the history of the game. I'm not saying it isn't going to happen, I'm just saying, "How about plan-B?". I can't think of one player at that age with that injury who has returned. I called my Dad during that Steeler's game and said, "That's the end of a hall of fame carreer.". But then I remembered that not even Ronnie Lott is in the hall of fame.
WR: I think we tried to sign Givens; no dice. I seem to remember some quote from his agent in the past comparing him to Ward? It's a shame too, we really need him in our offiense.
QB: We'll bring in a QB and draft one as well; Flutie's going to retire, but Cassell willl have more than enough competition on his hands. BTW: I'd be shoked if the Titans didn't end up with Leinart.
CB: Ahem: Ty Law
ILB: ..I just don't get the lack of drafting attention here?

OFFENSE
1) You need to do a lot of signing of free agents: Ashworth, Neal, Brown, Davis, Dwight, Givens, Fauria
2) I'm fine, except I think that we'll pick up a top receiver or receiver prospect as part of the mix.
3) The #9 OL is Mruc or Yates
DEFENSE
4) I'd keep Wright instead of Klecko
5) You list only nine LB's. I'd add Chad Brown, much better than TBC as a backup, role-playing OLB. TBC could be beaten out by Claridge.
6) Harrison will be on PUP or retired. There is no way he will be the starter for Game One.
7) I'd add a TBD at corner, for some unnemaed top shutdown corner.

Offense (25)
QB (3): Brady*, Cassel, TBD
RB (4): Dillon*, Faulk*, Pass, TBD
OL (9): Ashworth, Gorin, Hochstein*, Kazcur, Koppen*, Light*, Mankins*, Neal*, Tucker or TBD
WR (6): Branch*, Brown, Davis, Dwight, Givens*, Johnson
TE (3): Fauria, Graham, Watson*
QUOTE - I would not be surprised to see Cassel go if we can score a decent FA and a decent draft pick QB.
Rumor has it that Cassel never moved up to #2 because BB is not thrilled with his work ethic or his performance in studying the offense. He is not grasping it.
Now, you would say, where did you hear this Drewwho??? Sorry, if I told you I would have to kill you...Quote
Exactly.
QUOTE - it is from a reliable source, but it could just be rumor with no substance...just repeating what I heard. Anyone else hear this????QUOTE
No.
Special Teams (3):
P (1): Miller*
K (1): Vinatieri*
LS (1): Paxton*
Practice Squad:
Claridge (LB), Alexander (LB), Childress (WR), Sam (WR), Ventrone (S), TBD
ADPF -
I don't believe that PK Sam is eligible for the Practice Squad next year. And I know for a fact that Alexander is not eligible.
Also, how does this support your title?
Players who may or may not be back next year:
Don Davis, Matt Chatham, TBC, Ashworth, Hawkins, C. Scott, D. Starks, T. Poole, T. Brown, A. Davis, T. Dwight, C. Brown, S. Neal, D. Givens, A.Vinatieri
One can only hope that Neal, Givens, Vinatieria and possilby Ashworth are re-signed.

Five year deal with the Browns - done deal as they say.

Did I say Andra Davis? Because I meant Eric Alexander.
That's too bad. I don't see any other UFAs that would help us much at LB. It could possibly open up a spot for Evans, Mruczkowski, or another draftee.
