Default What trade value does Ricky Willams have?

They say that the Dolphins don't want to trade Ricky but they have a lot of holes to file and could use some draft picks. Ricky has been very good over the last 2 months and looks to be getting stronger. While I don't think the Pats would trade for him there are a few teams that could use a quality back. Granted, you need to question his desire and hope he is off the pot but he is a workhorse who is young (28) and "fresh" as he has not taken a beating the last two years.

Teams that need RB help
Arizona has been brutal running the ball.
Green Bay will lose Green, Davenport and Gado is injured.
NE - Not balming it all of Dillon but he as looked "old" this year.
Minnesota need to get one back and not this 3 headed monster crap.
Carolina - Loves Power FB but Davis looks done and Foster is a free agent.

What would Carolina need to trade to get Ricky?

You could probably get a bowl, roach clip and couple of dubies for
him. Other than that. Not a big market for one so fond of smoking
the wacky weed. He's a positive piss test from facing a one year
band. Who on earth would risk something for him? I'd hate to even
make a conditional trade because let's say you give Miami a nr 2 if
he's at 1000yds or #1 if over for 1200. He might be a no-show the
next year and what did you get for your high pick?

I think at best Ricky would net a 3rd. He's a name and will sell tickets. Someone will give a day 1 pick up for him. He could easily be the Corey Dillon of 06 and end up being a steal.

Agreed. But when you consider Alexander & Edge were being dangled for 2nd-3rds last year and they couldn't get a nibble, a 3rd is the best MIA can do (granted Ricky doesn't=their salary, but is more risky).

I think some team will give up a 3rd for him and end up getting a guy who will rush for 1200-1500 yds a season for the next 3-4 years. Solid deal if you can get him at a decent salary.

man-o-man am i hot for this to happen.
you know BB and saban will work out a win-win deal, so we don't have to worry about overpaying.
it's time for another 29-year-old RB to appear in next year's backfield.
somebody who's superfluous on his current team but has a year, maybe 25 games left. somebody who really, really wants a ring bad enough to restructure his contact like antowain and corey did.. you know ricky can be hell on wheels behing a good OL.
also on the list of nominees...jamal lewis!

Too bad they can't trade him to the Dolphins.

They spend top picks like they're pesos.

I'm just not sure that Ricky falls into this catagory.
