I don't remember a miracle mistake.

I do remember a Time Out called about a second before the ball was snapped, and a bunch of O-Lineman just standing up and a pass rusher getting through. I have a hard time believing that the O-Lineman just let the pass-rushers bye, and it wasn't related to the TO.

Green Bay's defensive strategy to avoid the pass rush pressure seems to be what Atlanta did against the Pats 2 weeks ago

If you are afraid to pass rush and leave the secondary on an island then you have little faith in the back 4 and that spells doom a lot of the time.

Than their DC has the genius idea of dropping perhaps their best pass rusher into coverage. Uh....?

IIRC the Patriots were going for it on 4th down to continue the drive late in the 4th which was the winning drive and the play had gone off without success until it was found out that a member of the Ravens staff which I believe was Rex Ryan called a timeout just before the snap...the timeout was given,Brady had a second chance and as history shows that drive ended up in a score and an unbelievable win for the Pats.

I've seen that play in slow motion a number of times, and at least two of their O-linemen were standing straight up, and not fully engaging when the ball snapped. That's not how you run block, especially in that situation. So, I believe Synovia has a point, and those O-linemen likely noticed the timeout before the ball was snapped.

Their D is excellent though...
Regarding the comment on their D. The D was fired up and very aggressive last night, similar to how many posters here wish the Pats would play. However, with that aggressiveness comes a lot of gambling, as well as GB still putting up 20 points.

While I do think the Packers should have utilized Kampman's pass rushing ability more, they are also trying to develop his overall game as a 34 OLB, and we all need to remember how frequently BB has dropped his best OLB's into coverage. Capers is likely trying to develop more flexibility, which in the end could make their defense tougher.

Brady could have the same time as Favre if we chose to have only two receivers out in patterns. One side would be MAX-PROTECT with a TE and RB protecting Brady and the other would have a TE or FB.

We CHOOSE to send more than two receivers out in patterns.

According to reports from Sirius NFL Radio today, 7.8 seconds was the average time that Brett had per passing play to find receivers.

I don't know about you but if you gave Tom Brady 7.8 seconds to pass the ball for 60 minutes NE would probably score 80 points and Brady would have 700 or more yards passing.

Thats just ridiculous to give a QB so long all game,Farve was fantastic but its scary to think what Brady or Manning could do.

We need our OL to play like the Vikings OL played last night, that would be awesome!!

I couldn't help but laugh at some of the cushion's the Green Bay defensive backs were giving the Vikings wide outs. It struck me as a particularly familiar sight. Then you realise.. oh that's right Dom Capers is at Green Bay now.

It was fun watching Allen play, however I still think the Giants are better than the Vikings.
