Default Hey Pats fans - how do you think Tony Romo would do in the Pats' system?

Just curious - do you think he would excel in this system, and shrug away all his "flaws"? Or do you think he'll be a liability in this offense?

Also - here in Dallas last year, alot of people(but not me) were pointing fingers at Terrell Owens b/c supposedly, his whining and crying over wanting to be happy and get the ball alot ended up hurting Romo's reads when he would drop back in the pocket. Well...despite a dangerous running game now that Jason Garrett is utilizing...well...let's just say you can't blame someone else for your own problems.

I am not a fan of Romo at all. Sure he occassionally posts great stats but that doesn't make him a great QB. Until he proves he can protect the football, until he proves he can win tough games, until he proves he can win in December/January, i will not rate Tony Romo at all.

If he was playing at any other team in the league, he would be considered a bad QB.

Romo seems susceptible to distractions and there seems to be a lot in Dallas. He might have more success with Belichick, but that could be said about a lot of QBs. IMO Phillips is holding the team back and I'm surprised JJ didn't replace him two years ago.

Slightly above average, at best. He's a terrible decision maker, and as others have said, his ball security is a tad lacking. Those are strikes 1 through 17 on a Belichick team.

He would do terribly in our "system".

Romo is a gunslinger - a poor imitation of Favre. He can make the spectacular play, but loses games due to forcing the ball, poor reads, bad game management, and poor decision making, all of which are anathema to Bill Belichick.

Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, and probably Joe Flacco would do well in our system.

Drew Brees is a shocking omission

Creator of the Pats must draft Jason Verrett in 2014 no matter the cost fanclub.
